Atenao is awarded the ISO 17100 standard for its translation services

Atenao, one of the top 20 language service agencies in France, has just been awarded the ISO 17100 certification for its translation service.

The international standard applies for 3 years and guarantees quality translation services. Atenao was awarded the certification in November 2022 and it reinforces Atenao’s constant focus on improving the standard of its language services.

The ISO 17100 certification was awarded to the Aix-en-Provence agency, Atenao’s largest branch with almost 30 million words translated every year. The certification process began in 2019, was delayed by COVID then awarded on November 23rd 2022 by Bureau Veritas. It guarantees the agency’s continuous improvement policy for performance, its management standards and translation services. The recognition means the agency can further segment its translation department.

Atenao plans to set up branches to cater for its clients’ needs, no matter where they are in the world. It has been expanding its Asian branch since 2019 (Tokyo – Japan) and plans to launch its Middle Eastern branch (Tunis – Tunisia) in the first quarter of 2023.
